Everyone in indie who can go on a 10th anniversary tour this year is doing just that – this time it’s The Pigeon Detectives

They'll play shows to celebrate debut album ‘Wait For Me’ this Autumn.
Everyone is doing 10th anniversary tours. By which we mean The Cribs did one, and Kate Nash is. That’s everyone.

Or everyone but The Pigeon Detectives. But worry not, Dear Reader. Your fretting that they may not take their debut album ‘Wait For Me’ on the road is over. Because they are. This Autumn.

They’ll kick off in Manchester on 19th August before heading to (deep breath) Nottingham, Middlesborough, Newcastle, Liverpool, Norwich, Bristol, Birmingham, Glasgow, Cambridge, Portsmouth, London and Sheffield. They’ll then finish up in Leeds, because obviously they will, on 3rd November.

Simpler days, eh? Tickets go on sale a 9am this Friday, 2nd June.
