Ex Hex have debuted an apocalyptic video for ‘Tough Enough’

The band drop their new album next month.

Ex Hex have dropped a brand new video.

The band – led by Helium/Wild Flag’s Mary Timony – have a new album ‘It’s Real’ out on 22nd March. Following up on 2014’s debut ‘Rips’, they’re previewing it with another new track, ‘Tough Enough’.

The opening track of the record, it comes alongside a Brandon Herman directed video, which sees the band tackle the apocalypse. You can check that out below.

Speaking about the song, Ex Hex claim ‘Tough Enough’ is is “all about three-dimensional power chords interplaying with whammy dive bombs. It’s a song about turning on your tough switch and forging ahead through whatever storms are happening around you ’cause you have no choice.”

So there you go.

Ex Hex will hit the UK for a series of shows this May. You can catch them at:

May
23 Stereo, Glasgow
24 Brudenell Social Club, Leeds
25 Deaf Institute, Manchester
27 The Exchange, Bristol
28 Village Underground, London
29 Hare & Hounds, Birmingham
