Exit Kid have released their latest stomper, ‘Bleary Eyed’.

It’s a fun, tongue-in-cheek jab at lockdown antics, as frontman Emre Türkmen – also of Years & Years ‘FYI’ – explains.

“I wrote Bleary Eyed in the middle of the Great British Lockdown, having consumed a daily-dose of Boris Johnson’s Covid briefings, and watched in horror as Trump found a hidden sixth-gear of madness across the pond. The song is written tongue-in-cheek from the perspective of these leaders, who seem to have no clue.

“I made the video myself, using nothing more than simple GIFs of these people in action. You really couldn’t write this stuff.”
