Fake Laugh & Tarquin have joined forces again for a brand new single.
Titled ‘So Good’, it’s the latest material from a collaboration first teased at the end of 2020 with the track ‘Meaningless Things’.
The duo explain: “With ‘So Good’ we wanted to create something that was as beastly as it was beautiful, something that you can listen to on your headphones in the dark but also get lost in the lasers to. Both the instrumental and vocals feel like a fusion of our favourite sounds from the UK and US, it felt like we were mostly drawing on 90s jungle rhythms and early 2000s RnB Pop. If the verses are frosted over with ice, the chorus melts it all way”
Fake Laugh released debut album ‘Dining Alone’ last March, following it up with ‘Waltz’ a few months later. Tarquin, meanwhile, made his name in London’s underground club scene playing nights such as the legendary Boxed, and has remixed everyone from Mr Mitch to Dirty Projectors.
