Fall Out Boy’s Joe Trohman has returned to the band

He took a break to focus on his mental health.

Fall Out Boy guitarist and founding member Joe Trohman has returned to the band after taking a break to focus on his mental health.

Trohman confirmed his return to the band through Instagram, citing “love and support” for helping him during his hiatus.

“Hey everyone, I’m officially back! I want to thank everyone for the love and support while I took some time away to focus on my brain and get healthy for my family, my friends and myself,” he wrote in the post.

He also thanked Ben Young for standing in during his absence.

His return comes in time for the remainder of Fall Out Boy’s world tour, supporting their eighth studio album ‘So Much (For) Stardust’. The tour includes dates in North America, with support from Bring Me The Horizon, before moving onto Europe for the second leg, including seven UK shows with support from PVRIS.
