Father John Misty battles an Apple Music album leak via the medium of meme

Because of course he does. He's Father John Misty.
Most artists aren’t like Father John Misty.

If others had an album leak a month up front of release, they’d probably smash things, have a bit of a strop and be best left alone. Not Mr. Tilman, though. He made a meme. Obviously.

Fourth studio album ‘God’s Favorite Customer’ is set for release on 1st June, but apparently the record was accidentally uploaded in its entirity to Apple Music briefly by mistake, before being taken down.

In response to such corporate fuckwittery. FJM changed his Facebook profile photo to an aptly posed head in hands moment – it’s like he already knew when picking his press shots – with the text ‘When you album leaks a month early.
