Father John Misty has dropped the full version of new track ‘Mr. Tillman’

Maybe there's a new album sooner than we thought.
This weekend, Father John Misty played a new track live. Now, we’ve got the full thing proper.

Titled ‘Mr. Tillman’, the arrival of the song seems to suggest we’ll be getting a new album from Misty sooner than we may have thought – with previous full length ‘Pure Comedy’ only having landed last year.

That follows comments last year that his fourth album was “pretty much done”, with Jonathan Rado (The Lemon Twigs, Foxygen) involved in its creation.

You can check out the studio cut of ‘Mr. Tillman’ below while we wait.
