Faye Webster has announced that a new EP, ‘Car Therapy Sessions’, will be released onto streaming services on 29th April.

Faye has also shared the first new song from the EP, ‘Car Therapy’.

The EP will feature both new music, but also a re-imagining of previous tracks performed live and with an orchestra. The previous tracks will be taken from Faye’s previous albums, 2019’s ‘Atlanta Millionaire’s Club’ and 2021’s ‘I know I’m Funny Haha’.

Speaking about the genesis of the idea for the EP, Faye said: “I have a vivid memory of walking around London in 2018 listening to a mix of Jonny, which I had just written. I remember thinking “I want to perform this song with an orchestra”. I truly have had my heart set on it since then, always talking about it and figuring out how or when to make it happen.”.

The EP will feature re-imagining of tracks ‘Jonny’ and ‘Jonny: Reprise’ which will be combined under the banner ‘Suite: Jonny’. She will also revisit tracks ‘Kind Of’, ‘Sometimes’ and ‘Cheers’.
