Fenne Lily has shared a new single, ‘In My Own Time’

The track is accompanied by a video that Fenne co-directed with Jim Larson, and will feature on her second LP, out April 14th via Dead Oceans.

Fenne Lily is offering a new taste of her forthcoming album ‘Big Picture’, sharing new single ‘In My Own Time’.

The track is accompanied by a video that Fenne co-directed with Jim Larson, and will feature on her second LP, out April 14th via Dead Oceans.

Speaking about the single, Fenne explains: “This song’s about the weight of stasis — about time moving too quickly and too slowly and every mistake feeling both permanent and inconsequential. When it came to writing this video concept, I wanted it to reflect the twisted aspects of a love that’s found in the midst of chaos and the subsequent feeling of being inanimate in your own story. All that, in the style of Terminator 2.”

Fenne will be touring the UK, Europe and North America in support of the new release. She’ll be co-headlining the US shows with Christian Lee Hutson, and will be supported by Naima Bock across the UK and Europe.

The upcoming tour will kick off on April 15th with a show at Leeds’ Brudenell Social Club, and will finish on June 16th at West Hollywood’s Troubadour.
