Festival No.6 is taking a break after this year: “Unfortunately No.6 is just not sustainable in its current format”

2018 will host sets from The The, Franz Ferdinand, Friendly Fires and more.

Festival No.6 has announced it will be taking a break following this year’s festival.

In a lengthy statement, organisers explain it’s because the event “is just not sustainable in its current format”.

“2018 will be the last Festival No.6 for now,” it reads. “We will of course be throwing an almighty party this year and will make sure it’s the most outstanding No.6 to date!”

This year, headliner sets will come from The The, Franz Ferdinand and Friendly Fires, with Marika Hackman, Ride, The Horrors, Alexis Taylor, Everything Everything, Fenne Lily, Jessie Ware, Anna Calvi, Django Django, Gaz Coombes and loads more also on the bill.

Festival No. 6 takes place in Portmeirion, Wales from 6th-9th September, visit festivalnumber6.com for all the info.
