Fickle Friends will follow Reading & Leeds by finishing their debut album

"It’s a pretty exciting time for us," says Natti.
They’re gearing up for a massive headline show at London’s Heaven (3rd November, diary fans), but before then, Fickle Friends are playing Reading & Leeds.

“I’ve never been,” says vocalist Natti Shiner. “I’m kinda freaking out a little bit but I know it will be killer!”

The band play Reading later today (Friday 26th August) and then Leeds tomorrow (Saturday 27th August) on the NME / BBC Radio 1 Stage, alongside Haelos, Hinds, Mura Masa, The Internet, The Neighbourhood, Crystal Castles, Twenty One Pilots and more.

“Can’t wait to see Rationale again,” she continues. “He blew me away (twice) this summer and I reckon he’s gonna be HUGE! Also really looking forward to finally seeing Mura Masa (my friend tour manages and I always end up missing the show), and Twenty One Pilots because I can’t get that ‘Blurryface’ track out of my head since it was on the Cali airwaves like a million times a day!”

For their own set, fans can expect “Chris’s outrageous moves”, and also: “We LOVE percussion and beats so expect lots of drum breaks and shakers and stuff. We’re also going to be playing a few treats from our album that we’re recording at the moment (in between festival madness).”

And their plans for the rest of the year? “We’re going to be finishing off our debut record. Smashing some more festivals. Releasing our next single, shooting the videos etc. Hopefully getting out on tour again around our next London show at Heaven in November… and maybe a show or two in the US. WHO BLOODY KNOWS. Our diary = chaos but we wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s a pretty exciting time for us.”
