Check out Finneas’ new cover of Bon Iver’s ‘Flume’

The track was recorded as part of Spotify's Singles series.

Finneas has recorded a cover of Bon Iver’s ‘Flume’ as part of Spotify’s Singles series.

As part of a run celebrating the acts nominated for the Best New Artist GRAMMY, he also re-imagined his track ‘Medieval’. You can check out both below.

The tracks were the first recorded in the streaming service’s new LA-based studio. “Honored to finally be able to get into the brand new and beautiful Spotify Studios to record these songs in these special arrangements,” Finneas said.

Finneas released his album ‘Optimist’ last October. Speaking about the record at the time, he explained: “My hope is some kid somewhere puts this on and maybe thinks, ‘This is exactly how I’m feeling right now.’ That’s what I do with my favorite music. Personally, the more I learn, the less I know. So, I just feel really lucky right now, and optimistic about the future.”
