First Aid Kit released their first bit of new music since 2015’s ‘Stay Gold’, and it’s not quite got the ethereal folk edge they normally have.
Taking a more aggressive approach, ‘You Are The Problem Here’ is distorted, heartfelt and powerful. Not mixing any words they open with, “I am so sick and tired of this world/ All these women with their dreams shattered/ From some man’s sweaty, desperate touch/ Goddammit, I’ve had enough.” It’s well worth a listen, or twenty, and should be played very loudly.
Being released as a standalone track this Friday (10th March), a portion of proceeds will go to Women For Women International. Listen to the track now:
