Finland’s Flow Festival has revealed its first line-up announcement, featuring FKA Twigs, Caroline Polacheck, Jockstrap & more.
The three-day festival will be held in Finland’s capital, Helsinki, from August 11th to 13th, 2023.
FKA Twigs is set to bring her genre-bending performance to the stage, with two groundbreaking LPs and a hook-driven mixtape on offer. Her most recent release was July’s ‘Killer’, which explored the dangers of being a woman in love.
American pop singer Caroline Polacheck will bring her dark and entrancing show to the city too, after recently confirming she is already working on album two, which is set to follow 2019’s ‘Pang’ – expect to hear some fresh material when she reemerges from the studio.
London-based duo Georgia Ellery and Taylor Skye are better known as the experimental electro-pop outfit Jockstrap, and also feature on the enhanced Wide Awake bill for 2023. Their debut LP, ‘I Love You Jennifer B’, has already catapulted them into the spotlight, with Dork’s 4-star review describing the record as, “one step ahead of their peers, and, quite possibly, technology as we know it”.
Other acts featured in the first announcement include English rockers Suede, Australian punks Amyl & The Sniffers, and eclectic rapper Shygirl.
