FKA Twigs has been cast in the upcoming remake of The Crow

She will feature in the reimagining of the 1994 classic.

It has been announced that FKA Twigs has secured a role in the upcoming remake of the 1994 famed movie The Crow. The role she will play is as yet undisclosed.

The film will star Bill Skarsgard of Pennywise fame in the lead role, and is being directed by Rupert Sanders, best known for previously directing Snow White and the Huntsman.

The movie is an adaptation of James O’Barr’s comic book series of the same name, and surrounds the tale of a murdered musician who is resurrected to avenge his death.

The 1994 film unfortunately gained infamy when Brandon Lee, playing the lead role, was killed when a gun misfired during filming.

Speaking about the remake to Deadline, Sanders said: “The Crow is beautiful, dark, poetic and sometimes disturbing. It is a story of love, loss, grief and revenge. It is a great honor to revisit James O’Barr’s iconic comic and reimagine The Crow as a foreboding voice of today.”

FKA Twigs has previously starred in the 2019 movie, Honey Boy.
