The Flaming Lips announce London and Manchester shows

Their new album may be getting closer.
The Flaming Lips are playing a couple of UK dates next January.



The band, who played their classic album ‘The Soft Bulletin’ in its entirety at Wilderness Festival at the weekend – will appear at London’s O2 Academy Brixton on January 21st, with a show at Manchester Academy a day later on January 22nd.



The new dates come alongside whispers the band are close to releasing a new album, with regularly collaborator George Salisbury – who works alongside the band on their music videos, live projections and artwork – posting an Instagram story captioned “Gettin’ close!!!!”.
