Fleet Foxes’ new album is “alllllmost done”, apparently

A comment on Facebook steps the buzz up a gear.
Fleet Foxes new album is “alllllmost done” according to a new update from the band.

As is the way in 2016, suspicions something could be afoot picked up a gear when the band changed their Facebook cover photo to a historic photograph, Hiroshi Hamaya’s Eruption at Mount Tokachi, Hokkaido Prefecture, Japan, 1962. When asked in the comments if a new album was coming, the band replied in the affirmative.

It’s been quite the wait for a new record from Fleet Foxes – with their last effort ‘Hopelessness Blues’ landing in mid-2011.
