Florence + the Machine and Kendrick Lamar currently look set to go head to head for the number one spot in this week’s UK album chart.

So far, Florence + the Machine are ahead in both physical and digital sales with 26,000 units sold. ‘Dance Fever’ is the fifth album of Florence Welch’s group and would mark the fourth number one album.

Kendrick Lamar has returned this week with his first record in five years, ‘Mr Morales & The Big Steppers’. The album is currently in second place in the charts.

Also new this week are new albums from The Black Keys and Bear’s Den, currently in fourth and fifth place, respectively.

Over in the singles chart, Sam Ryder is a contender for number one after his amazing performance at Eurovision at the weekend. If Sam did hit the top spot with ‘Space Man’ then he would be the first Eurovision entry to reach number one in 26 years.
