Florence + the Machine are the latest headliners announced for Norway’s Øya Festival.

Taking place from 9th-13th August at Oslo’s Tøyenparken, Fontaines DC, Parquet Courts and Porridge Radio are also new to the bill. They join the likes of AJ Tracey, Gorillaz, Aurora, First Aid Kit, Bikini Kill, Bright Eyes, Girl In Red, Yard Act, Pa Salieu and Princess Nokia.

A press release explains: “With the addition of Florence + The Machine, Øya’s range of headliners for 2022 is becoming one of the strongest of the summer festival season. Other headline artists so far include Gorillaz, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds and Aurora. The rest of the bill – as ever split 50/50 between male and female artists – is just as essential. It combines internationally revered stars with eclectic rising talent, and introduces a new wave of vital emerging domestic artists.”
