Popular indie-rock band Foals broke the No News On The Weekend agreement yesterday, dropping a brand new video for their track ‘Sunday’.
Now, Dear Reader, we’re not daft. We can see why they did it. You’re hardly going to debut a video for a track called ‘Sunday’ on a Tuesday afternoon, now are you. But, in accordance with our desire to catch up on Riverdale and make a slightly more involved than usual tea, it means we’re bringing you this fresh delight a day later. Sorry lads, but we stick to The Rules.
Having released the first part of their two album ‘project’ ‘Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost’ earlier this year, we’re expecting a second instalment to arrive this Autumn. They’ve already been playing one new song live from the “heavier” full-length, ‘FYI’.
If you’re interested in seeing the band, they’re about to embark on a run of headline shows. You can check those out after the video below.
As well as their mostly sold out live shows, Foals have a bunch of festivals ‘in the books’, including an appearance at hometown bash Truck between 26th and 28th July. Tickets for that are on sale now.
