It looks like we’re getting something new from Foals – possibly titled ‘Wake Me Up’ – very soon indeed

Whatever it is will arrive on Thursday, 4th November.

Foals are teasing something for next Thursday (4th November).

The band have shared a short video alongside the hashtag ‘#WakeMeUp’. The clip features an alarm that goes off at 18:10 on 4th November.

And as well all know, Dear Reader, that’s about the time we’ve grown to expect new songs to arrive when they’re debuted as the Hottest Record on BBC Radio 1. Think we can all work this one out, yeah?

Foals have been working on the follow up to 2019’s two-part ‘Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost’ project, their first since the departure of keyboard player Edwin Congreave last month. At the time, Edwin told fans he’d “heard the new album” and that it was “brilliant”.

Looks like we’ll all get to hear some of that very soon indeed.
