Fontaines D.C., Craig David, Marika Hackman, Circa Waves and more announced as a part of #LoveRecordStores

The 24-hour virtual in-store event is raising awareness for record stores around the UK

Fontaines D.C., Craig David, Marika Hackman, Circa Waves and many more have been announced as performing as a part of #LoveRecordStores on June 20th

The 24-hour virtual in-store event has been set up to raise awareness of the challenges currently being faced by record stores up and down the UK and beyond – encouraging fans to continue shopping during this time with an unmissable day of programming

With a string of special vinyl releases being unveiled (in a similar vein to Record Store Day that was forced to postpone for 2019), the day will feature a range of performances, DJ sets and more – with a cracking bill set to roll through. Just make sure you set your alarm for 7am.

Also announced today as a part of the stream are the likes of Orlando Weeks, Mystery Jets, John Grant, Porridge Radio, NZCA Lines, BC Camplight, Temples, Tim Burgess, Black Pumas, Ren Harvieu and many more – with DJ sets confirmed from Four Tet, Metronomy, Confidence Man, Daniel Avery, Kelly Lee Owens, The Go! Team, Nabihah Iqbal, Erol Alkan, Richard Russell and more!

Not too shabby eh? And lets not forget an exclusive world premiere from Yannis Philippakis (off of Foals), taken from his free jam clubnight ‘Milk’.

With a range of the best independent labels involved and offering up some amazing deals and exclusives, you’d be foolish to miss out. All programming will be available to watch for free, with donations encouraged for the #saveourvenues campaign, with further donation links to Black Lives Matter and the Covid-19 relief fund also available. More details and the link to stream everything on June 20th can be found here
