Fontaines D.C. have dropped a cover of The Pogues’ ‘I’m A Man You Don’t Meet Every Day’

As taken from their 1985 album 'Rum, Sodomy & the Lash', dontcha know?

Fontaines D.C. have dropped a cover of The Pogues, in December. And no, it’s not that one.

Performing for US radio stadium SiriusXM, the band have delivered their rendition of the fellow Irish group’s song ‘I’m A Man You Don’t Meet Every Day’, which you can check out below.

Originally recorded with Pogues bassist Cait O’Riordan on vocals, it’s taken from their 1985 album ‘Rum, Sodomy & the Lash’. Suppose these days you’d need to add a substantial meal to that one. Maybe a sausage roll.
