Foo Fighters have self-confirmed themselves for Glastonbury 2023, finally proving correct the rumours they’ll be performing under the banner of The ChurnUps later this evening.

The mysterious name first appeared on the Glastonbury line-up when the full list of stage times was revealed, with initial rumours suggesting it could be either Pulp or Foo Fighters taking the slot.

Those rumours swung towards the Foo Fighters when the band published a letter on social media containing the phrase “churning” earlier this month.

Now, after Dave Grohl was spotted backstage at the Pyramid Stage, the band have as good as confirmed themselves for the slot, tweeting from the festival with a picture of a flag stating “Churn it up”.

That means Foo Fighters will take to Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage at 6:15pm. You’ll be able to watch all the action on BBC iPlayer, and follow it via our live blog here.
