Foo Fighters have shared a new photo, documenting work on their tenth album.
The new year message, posted to Instagram, shows a microphone set up in the bath. Quality acoustics, right?
“Come on in, the water’s fine…’, a caption reads, alongside the hashtag #FF25 – they’re celebrating their 25th year as a band, y’see?
Work on the follow up to 2017’s ‘Concrete & Gold’ is underway, after frontman Dave Grohl confirmed recording was about to start on stage at Brazil’s Rock In Rio festival back in September 2019. “We go home next week and we start making a new Foo Fighters record,” he explained. “It’s good, it’s good.”
We’ll judge that, Davey boy.
There’s no suggestion as to when we’ll see the album, but let’s all say ‘some time this year’ and hope it’s a broad enough stroke to sound informed, eh?
