Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes have joined forces with Jamie T for a rowdy new single, ‘The Drugs’

  • Finlay Holden
  • October 18, 2022

Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes have recruited Jamie T for a new collaboration on rowdy single, ‘The Drugs’.

The new track follows Frank Carter’s appearance on Jamie T’s fifth studio album, ‘The Theory Of Whatever’ – on that first team-up, Carter says: “Jamie and I had been talking about making music for years and when he asked me to sing on his tune ‘British Hell’ I jumped at the chance. When I asked him to sing on ‘The Drugs’, he returned the favour in perfect style.”

“‘The Drugs’ was written after a few long conversations with some beautiful friends of mine who had been struggling with addiction,” he continues. “Life is a difficult journey, it’s easier with good friends around.”

You can listen to ‘The Drugs’ here, and watch the official music video below:

Following his first number-one charting comeback album, ‘The Theory Of Whatever’ – which Dork’s 4-star review described as “a stream of consciousness in the most exciting way possible” – Jamie T has announced a massive headline show at London’s Finsbury Park next summer.

Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes’ latest LP was 2021’s ‘Sticky’, which Dork said offered “serviceable rock music which will work much better live” in a 3-star review which you can read here. The band proved this description correct by kicking off Reading Festival 2022 with a bang – you can see that chaos here.
