Frankie Beetlestone has dropped ‘Cannonball’, his first single of 2023.

Sheffield’s Frankie Beetlestone follows up last year’s ‘Popstar’ with another anthemic track – conversational and brutally honest, ‘Cannonball’ drops just before Frankie sets out on a massive UK arena tour in support of Tom Grennan.

On ‘Cannonball’, Frankie explains: “‘Cannonball’ is a song about trying to replace a toxic ex. It’s natural to compare a current relationship to previous ones, but I think a lot of people have THAT ONE person from their past. A person who has the potential to destroy whatever they’ve got going on in the present. “Cannonball” is a metaphor for that person. It’s also a reference to Oasis.”

He has also shared a music video for the track which sees him pacing the streets of Sheffield. Check it out below.
