FREAK premieres new video for ‘I Like To Smile When I’m Sad’

Catch FREAK on tour around the UK with Black Honey.
FREAK’s latest single ‘I Like To Smile When I’m Sad’ lands tomorrow (24th March) via his own FREAK Recordings imprint.

It’s another scuzzy number that does a great job of sounding like being a teenager feels, and we’ve got the video here for you first on Dork – check it out below.

“The video was shot in my house and at my local Co-op I used to work in,” explains Connar Ridd. “We used a venue called Asylum to shoot the drunk scenes as well so it has an authentic Chelmsford vibe throughout. It features all my best friends in it as well, it was so much fun to shoot.”

‘I Like To Smile When I’m Sad’ follows on from ‘Cake’ and ‘Nowhere’, and coincides with his Black Honey support tour, which kicks off tonight in Bedford. Full dates after the jump.
