Friendly Fires have dropped their new single ‘Heaven Let Me In’

Their second new single of 2018 is co-produced with Disclosure.

Friendly Fires have dropped a brand new single, co-produced alongside Disclosure.

Titled ‘Heaven Let Me In’, it follows up on ‘Love Like Waves’, which was released earlier this year. Since then, they’ve played a summer of shows and festival headline slots including Festival No 6, Lost Village and Truck.

‘Heaven Let Me In’ was recorded in one late night session at Disclosure’s north London studio. Talking about the track, frontman Ed Macfarlane explains: “‘Heaven Let Me In’ is a song about being comfortable in your own skin. When you stop trying so hard and embrace your imperfections then opportunities arise and doors open.”

It’s the second time Friendly Fires and Disclosure have collaborated, with Ed lending vocals to ‘Defeated No More’ on the duo’s debut album.

‘Heaven Let Me In’ also serves as a preview for Friendly Fires’ third album, which is set to arrive in 2019.
