Friendly Fires just smashed Brixton Academy, and it looked like this

They're back, they've brought bangers, and it looks fantastic.
Yesterday evening was quite the few hours for Friendly Fires. With Arctic Monkeys’ attempt at scene stealing out of the way, the trio dropped their first new material in ages in the form of legit banger ‘Love Like Waves’. Not content with that, immediately afterwards, they also played the centrepiece live show of their comeback run at London’s Brixton Academy.

Obviously, they smashed it. Our reporter on the scene has already reported in saying the band were “very very very good” and “sounded huge”. We’ll have more words for you soon, but for now, we’ve got a bunch of lovely shots of the band in action. It’s great to have them back.
