Future Islands have announced a big ‘ol show at Brixton Academy

  • Dork News Desk
  • May 3, 2017
Get ready for move synth-grooves and dancefloor boogies than you ever thought possible – Future Islands are bringing the party to a huge headline date at London’s Brixton Academy.

Lined up for November 20th, the date come after a storming recent run across the country (which culminates in a sneaky date at The Dome in London’s Tufnell Park this week) and stunning new album ‘The Far Field’. So get ready for the unmistakable presence of frontman Samuel T Herring bounding across that Brixton stage like a World Cup Final.

Aside from that recent headline run, Future Islands will be touching back to the UK ahead of November – with festival slots lined up at Glastonbury and a headline night at Green Man along with a range of headline dates across Ireland, Nottingham and Cambridge.

Check those full dates below, with tickets for the Brixton show on sale from next Wednesday. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
