Watch Gently Tender’s self-directed new video for ‘Some Hard Advice’

It's the band's second single following last year’s ‘2 Chords Good’.

Gently Tender – the new band from former Palma Violets members Sam Fryer, Pete Mayhew and Will Doyle, plus The Big Moon’s Celia Archer – have released a new video.

The self-directed clip is for the band’s second single ‘Some Hard Advice’, which follows on from last year’s ‘2 Chords Good’ and its B-side ‘Avez Vous Deja’.

“This is the first video we have directed ourselves and it was created with the invaluable help of some very close friends of ours,” Sam explains.

“We felt that a simple performance video was right for this song as we didn’t want to distract too much from the song itself. We wanted the soul of the song to come across, uncomplicated by over performance or over editing.”

The band play Oslo in London on 6th March, followed by a few festival sets including Are You Listening? (27th April) and Live At Leeds (4th May).
