George Daniel and Oscar Farrell have teamed up for new electronic track ‘volc3’

The 1975’s George Daniel and Sampha collaborator Oscar Farrell unite for a bass-heavy electronic single on Daniel’s dh2 label.

George Daniel and Oscar Farrell have released their collaborative track ‘volc3’ via dh2.

The new single marks the first joint release from the labelmates, featuring a pounding bassline interwoven with ambient samples and synths.

Daniel began releasing solo material alongside launching dh2 in 2024, with singles ‘Screen Cleaner’ and ‘Chlorine’. His work encompasses electronic beats drawing from his experience with The 1975 and collaborations with Charli xcx, The Japanese House, Caroline Polachek and salute.

“It’s about freedom to collaborate and experiment – working with artists I’ve admired for years but in a totally new context,” Daniel told The FACE about the label’s direction.

Tonight, dh2 will host their club night at New York’s Public Records, following their series of London events in 2024 which featured Kelly Lee Owens, Taylor Skye and Bodhi alongside Farrell and label head Daniel.
