Georgia can ‘Feel It’, and so can we with this new stormer

  • Dork News Desk
  • January 6, 2017
Georgia has dropped a fresh new number in the form of ‘Feel It’, a grooving electro-cutter that’ll have you off your feet and throwing shapes around the office stereo in no time.

After spending most of 2016 playing dates all over the place, the beat-laden drummer extraordinaire is switching right back into gear – promising big things from the follow-up to her self-titled 2015 debut.

‘Feel It’ has been debuted alongside a euphoric new video, finding a string of drummers playing along to the chopped pop mover.

Speaking about the track, Georgia explained that “‘Feel It’ is about when our mind and bodies are consumed by a powerful feeling, and the sense of nobody or anything being able to a/effect or ‘shatter’ it. I wanted the video to reflect this by getting female drummers of all ages and backgrounds, to express what they felt by playing and nobody ‘shattering’ this. We gave them little direction, we wanted to capture the initial emotions they felt when playing. I think in turn we managed to capture a real universal message, that whoever you are or wherever you’re from, we all share rhythm and heightened feelings, and if you are a female drummer, DON’T BE SCARED TO EXPRESS YOURSELF, PICK UP YOUR STICKS AND PLAY!”

The video’s director Raine Allen Miller had a pretty clear intention for the video too. “My goal was simple; to make a music video that makes every five-year-old girl in the world break her Barbie’s legs and use them as drumsticks.”

Barbie’s beware, Georgia is back. You can check it all out below.
