Are we getting new Gorillaz music this weekend?

Might be.
Everyone loves a bit of speculation, so here’s a deep pan slice – we could be about to get new music from Gorillaz this weekend.

The leap of faith has some merit. The animated troupe have been dropping hints about their new record for months now, with stories of ‘band members’ Noodle and Russell being posted in recent weeks, alongside various updates from co-founder Damon Albarn.

Now, Noodle’s official Instagram has shared a drawing of the logo for ‘creative collective’ Soulection, who have a Beats 1 show this Saturday, October 22nd. The post also includes a tag for Giles Peterson, who regularly hosts, and some vaguely ‘there may be something worth listening to’ emoji. If you speak emoji. We do.

You can check it out below.
