Girl Ray are getting their drama on again in their new vid for ‘Preacher’

  • Dork News Desk
  • May 17, 2017
Girl Ray have dropped their brand new video for ‘Preacher’.

It’s the second part of a series of ‘period dramas’ staring the band, following on from ‘Nettles of the Parish’, the clip for previous single ’Stupid Things’.

The band’s Iris McConnell explains: “It follows the story of a lowly servant (played by professional actor Michael O’ Malley) who succumbs to his deepest desires, losing everything in the process. Get out ur Kleenex! We didn’t intend for it to be this moving, our apologies. Nettles of the Parish 2 also stars heartthrob Alex Parish, who some of you may remember, and Dame Jane Hankin.”

Both tracks are taken from the band’s debut album, ‘Earl Grey’, set for release on 4th August via Moshi Moshi.

Girl Ray will be heading to The Great Escape this Friday, before a summer of live shows. You can catch them at:
