Girlpool and Blood Orange’s Dev Hynes have collaborated on a new song called ‘Picturesong’.
Girlpool say of the track: “’Picturesong’ is a word invented to explore what we create in each other when we want to feel deep love because of loneliness or otherwise, and brings into question the reality and delusion of the things we feel.”
“I’m such a fan of Girlpool, and loved working with them,” Dev adds. “Their harmonies are some of my favourites that are out there.”
The song precedes Girlpool’s US tour, which kicks off in Washington on 7th February. The duo released their new album ‘Powerplant’ in May of last year.
Hynes meanwhile released his latest Blood Orange album, ‘Freetown Sound’, in 2016.
