Glass Animals are commemorating the ninth anniversary of their debut album ‘ZABA’ with some celebratory socks (and more)

A reissue is coming in August.

Glass Animals have announced some anniversary plans.

The band will be celebrating nine years since the release of their 2014 debut album ‘ZABA’ with exclusive Zoetrope animations by Drew Tetz alongside a limited edition double vinyl, due on 25th August. There’s also a merch drop with t-shirts, tote bags, socks and more.

Their newsletter explains: “I said there was some stuff coming to celebrate the BIG 9 year anniversary of zaba (as i said in the other insta post… next year is gonna be busy so going ham this year instead of celebrating the usual 10-year anniversary) so… here it is.

“First up is this beautiful double vinyl with special adapted artwork that animates as the record spins. credit to micah lidberg on the original artwork and re-imagination by the wonderful Drew Tetz.

“If you don’t have a record player…d o. not. panic. we’ve got some t shirts, a tote…even some socks. for your feet. it’s all available to order now…”.
