The new issue of Dork, featuring Gorillaz, is coming this Friday – pre-order now

Not only that, but you can grab an exclusive Jamie Hewlett illustrated cover to celebrate too. Well worth selling your soul for.

What’s a cult band anyway? Turns out it doesn’t have to be one hiding away from the mainstream. Actually, they can be one of the biggest of them all.

In this month’s new issue of Dork, we’ve consented to being blindfolded and escorted into the LA inner sanctum of 2-D, Murdoc, Noodle and Russel to find out exactly what is going on with Gorillaz – part chart dominating mega-band, now part movement.

Not only that, but you can grab an exclusive Jamie Hewlett illustrated cover to celebrate too. Well worth selling your soul for.

Gorillaz are the first act we’re revealing for our March 2023 issue. We’ve two more cover stars to come over the next couple of days, plus a line-up of exciting new music, interviews, reviews, and general ‘stuff’ to fill your month.

The new issue of Dork will drop on Friday, 10th February. You can pre-order a physical copy of the Gorillaz edition of Dork right now here and it’ll ship before the end of the month, or subscribe and get the print edition sent directly to your door every month here.

If you like what we do, we’re making available a section of the site for those who wish to support us by signing up to a new monthly or annual subscription package. Different from our previous print-only subscriptions, the Dork Supporters scheme allows you to get early access to all our print content in digital form as soon as the issue launches, read digital versions of every single edition of Dork right back to issue 1, and get occasional exclusive extras too. You can sign up for digital-only or digital + print packages, which will give you immediate access. You can find more information here.

And don’t worry if you’re not signing up. You’ll still get everything you did before, as digital versions of our print content unlock to be read free of charge throughout the month. Enjoy!
