Graham Coxon joins Gorillaz on stage to perform Blur’s ‘Song 2’

As if they haven't already got enough bangers of their own.

Gorillaz were joined on stage by Damon Albarn’s old buddy Graham Coxon for a thrash through Blur’s ‘Song 2’ during their Demon Dayz festival headline set in Los Angeles.

Introducing Graham to the stage, Damon said, ‘We’re going to try some cross pollination’ – in other words, here’s a song by my other band.

The performance came at the climax of a mammoth 30 song set that saw the cartoon heroes perform all their hits joined by other guests including De La Soul, George Benson, Dram, Little Simz and Hypnotic Brass Ensemble.

Check out their banging version of ‘Song 2’ below.
