Green Day are the first headliner to be announced for next years British Summer Time shows in Hyde Park.
Bringing their bloody massive live show to the capital’s home of shrubbery and early-morning joggers, the legendary trio will headline the park on 1st July, so you’ve got plenty of time to note it down and prepare yourself for what could be the show of the summer.
Speaking about the show, frontman Billie Joe Armstrong said:
“London in the summer, us and tens of thousands of fans having the biggest party in one of the world’s most legendary venues. We have the best year to look forward to and this has just made it extra special.”
The next twelve months are indeed big ones for Green Day, who are set to release their new album ‘Revolution Radio’ on 7th October, before a string of arena dates in February through Europe and of course, the UK.
Tickets for Green Day’s British Summer Time show are on sale from 7th October (unless you’re on the cheeky presale which starts on 1st October) – so you can literally blare the new record out whilst buying the tickets. Smart guys right there.
