Gretel Hänlyn has shared a new video for ‘King of Nothing’

The track is taken from her 'Head of the Love Club' EP, released earlier this year.

Gretel Hänlyn has dropped a video for ‘King of Nothing’, directed by Ben Brook. The track is taken from her ‘Head of the Love Club’ EP, released earlier this year.

Speaking about the song, Hänlyn said,  “‘King of Nothing’ is about how easily some dumbies will undermine or disrespect you, especially when you’re a woman and/or minority. This is me reminding myself they’re dumbies and giving myself a free card to yell at them – doesn’t solve much but it’s fun and takes the weight off.”

Hänlyn’s debut EP ‘Slugeye’ was released in 2022, with her upcoming tour dates including stops at Wide Awake Festival in London, BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend in Dundee, Best Kept Secret Festival in Hilvarenbeek, Netherlands, and All Together Now Festival in Ireland.
