Griff has unveiled a new video for latest track ‘Forgive Myself’ – all shot during quarantine!
The self-shot clip for the frankly-ridiculously great new bop sees Griff turning quarantine life on its head – with projections, multiple screens, multiple Griff’s and more flip the script on how much you can productively do during this time. Definitely beats us building a hedgehog house out of crayons…
Speaking about the clip, Griff explains: “Quarantine came and we had no video for ‘Forgive Myself’, so I kinda had no choice but to try and pull off a music video alone in my house. Once we brainstormed the idea for the video, I started sewing some of the outfits; I then got sent some lights, two projectors and a few tripods and spent the day filming the video on my phone and the team directed me through Zoom. it was definitely the most intense video I’ve done so far, but I’m quite proud of what we pulled off.”
Already bang on-track to become your next favourite pop superstar, ‘Forgive Myself’ sits as Griff’s second release of 2020 so far – following on from ‘Good Stuff’ causing a scene all over the place. With a headline night currently in the pipeline at London’s Lafayette on September 15th, it’s time to get on board
