Grimes was going to drop new music next week, but now she can’t, so here’s some clips instead

She's posting loads of teasers on Twitter.
Right then, let’s start drilling down on some of these tweets.

Grimes was set to release a new music next week (!!!!) on the 15th, but – as she’s now revealed on Twitter – her mixer can’t do it yet (bloody hell mate – Ed), so we’re going to have to wait.

In the meantime, she’s been whacking clips of songs on her Twitter, including a ‘cheesy love song’ and an ‘ethereal chav jam’. Nice.

She’s currently working on the follow up to ‘Art Angels’, and we can expect the new record around September, ish, apparently.

She posted some more hints about the tracklisting, and it turns out the album includes a ‘powerful spell’. Blimey.

Even though she’s been working hard on her own album, Grimes still found time to contribute to other artists’ projects. She featured on Janelle Monáe’s ‘Pynk’ earlier this year, and k-pop group LOONA’s latest single ‘love4eva’.
