Ex Vampire Weekend producer, guitarist and all round good egg Rostam is one of our favourite people. He’s spent the last few years teasing us with a string of ace solo singles and now ‘Gwan‘ has been given the full video treatment.
Directed by Greg Brunkalla the clip sees Rostam casually strolling round his home city of New York taking in all of its lovely sights and sounds. Speaking about the song, Rostam said: “I’ve had experiences where my life will try to tell me something in a dream—and sometimes it’s something I’m not ready to hear. So I think maybe this song is about trying to listen to what your subconscious mind is trying to say to you.”
