At least 90% of the best songs are under three minutes long. They just are; it’s a music fact.
Zac Farro’s ‘Telephone’ is a great example: clocking in at a little over a minute, it’s a breezy, summery number that soon has you wanting to hit repeat; and could easily end up soundtracking your entire afternoon.
The accompanying video – premiering today via Dork, no less – is similarly relaxed, with Zac chilling out with dreamy visuals courtesy of multimedia artist Mike Kludge.
“Making the ‘Telephone’ video was a rad experience,” says Zac. “The director Mike Kludge has so much vintage video gear that it doesn’t require much of a performance from the artist to make it look exciting. Being that the song is only a little over a minute long and the lyrics are very straight forward, it felt right for this video for me to stay stationary and just let Mike do his thing.”
‘Telephone’ is taken from Zac’s new Halfnoise album, ‘Sudden Feeling’ out 9th September via Congrats! Records. Watch the video below.
