Halsey’s new single ‘So Good’ finally has a release date after TikTok drama

The new track will arrive on 9th June.

Halsey‘s label Capitol Music have confirmed they’ll release the star’s new track ‘So Good’ very soon.

The track came to prominence after the singer posted to TikTok, claiming the label wouldn’t let her drop the song unless she made a teaser campaign go viral on the app. The move went on to provoke a number of other artists to come forward with similar claims of demands from the industry to produce content for TikTok.

Now, Capitol have come forward, saying they “love” and are “here to support” Halsey. “We are committing to a release of ‘So Good’ on 9th June 2022,” they continue.

An accompanying image states: “We are an artist first company that encourages open dialogue. We have nothing but a desire to help each one of our artists succeed, and hope that we can continue to have these critical conversations.”

Sadly, they didn’t post it to TikTok with an accompanying viral dance. You can check out the statement below.
