Happy Accidents are on a quest for stardom in their new spoof BBC documentary

It's based on an IRL documentary about Phoebe's dad's old band.

Happy Accidents have unveiled a new spoof documentary.

Titled Three Pop Musicians on a Quest for Stardom, it’s a shot-for-shot recreation of an 80s BBC South documentary that was made about drummer Phoebe Cross’ dad’s old band, Laughter In The Garden.

As well as streaming online, the fifteen-ish minute clip will also be available on a limited run of VHS tapes via the band’s website.

The band’s new album, ‘Everything But The Here And Now’ is out now on Alcopop! Records. They’re hitting the road later this year with Tiny Moving Parts (September, October) and Hurry (November).
