Hatchie has shared a new song about teenage friendship, ‘Obsessed’

It's from her upcoming album.

Hatchie has dropped a new cut from her upcoming debut album.

‘Obsessed’ features on ‘Keepsake’, which will be released on 21st June via Heavenly Recordings.

Of the song, Harriette Pilbeam says: “It’s a song about friendship. I wrote it when reflecting on my teenage tendency to cling to a new best friend for support, until I eventually convinced myself I wasn’t worthy of their friendship. It’s ultimately a celebration of meeting somebody who you look up to who helps you grow into a more adventurous person.”

The album will be accompanied by a short UK tour that kicks off at the Green Door Store in Brighton on 9th June:

JUNE
09 Green Door Store, BRIGHTON
11 The Louisiana, BRISTOL
12 Moth Club, LONDON
13 Yes, MANCHESTER
14 Brudenell Social Club (Heavenly Weekender), LEEDS
