Hey America – The 1975 are coming for a massive headline tour

  • Dork News Desk
  • January 24, 2017
Slow down? Naah, definitely not if you’re The 1975 – who have just announced a mammoth headline tour of the US this summer.

After previously confirming a big (and we mean BIG) night at New York’s legendary Madison Square Garden, the band have confirmed that they’ll be heading across the States from April – with 32 dates lined up across the country.

It comes in a big ‘ol year for Matty Healy & Co, with the band picking up two BRIT Award nominations for the ceremony next month, with further live dates lined up across Europe straight after the freshly announced US run.

Makes sense really, seeing as they well and truly are the band of the moment, something we delved into with Matty in December/January’s magazine – which you can check out in full here.

Presale tickets for the tour are on-sale from Wednesday (January 25th). Before then, check out this stunning clip of ‘I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it’ favourite ‘Loving Someone’ – performed at their memorable headline shows at London’s O2 Arena in December.
